December 31, 2014 – The film, Guardians of the Galaxy today emerged as the most patronized movie in box offices around the world in the year ended 2014. The film made $332,862.030 in 4,088 theatres where it was exhibited all over the world.

The Hunger Games: Mokingjay Part 1 is the second best film based on sales recorded across box offices around the globe. The film made $308,939,828 from a total of 4, 151 cinema houses where it made appearance worldwide.

At number three is Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which made $259,766, 572 from the 3,938 theatres where it was exhibited worldwide. It is followed closely by The Lego Movie in the fourth place.

The film grossed a total sum of $257,760,692 from 3,890 film viewing outfit where it was exhibited worldwide.

Transformers: Age of Extinction occupied the 5th position after grossing a total sale of $245,439,076 after featuring in 4,233 theatres all over the world.

Next in the 6th place is the film Maleficient, which recorded sales to the tune of $241,410, 378 from the 3,948 theatres were it was exhibited.

The seventh most patronized film during the year was X-men: Days of the Future Past which made $233, 921,534 after passing through 4,001 theatres worldwide.

Dawn of the planet of the Apes is eight most patronized film during the year. it recorded sales to the tune of $208, 545,589 from the 3,969 viewing centres where it was exhibited across the world.

Big Heroes 6 is 9th most patronized film based on total sales at box offices throughout the year. The film made $203,198,664 after passing through 3,773 theatres.

The Amazing Spiderman rounded up the ten top films after returning $202,853,933 from 4, 324 viewing centres worldwide.
