July 28, 2014 – At least four Nigerians were killed today following an attack in Kano State by the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
Sources say the sect attacked NNPC mega station situated in Hotoro Quarters along Maiduguri road, killing four people while others were injured.
We gathered that the attacked was carried out by a female bomber who detonated the bomb where individuals were buying kerosene in the mega station, killing four people on the spot.
Several others were injured following the impact which set the petrol station on fire.
This is about the third time in three days that the sect is hitting Kano. Six people were killed in Kano on Sunday when members of the sect carried out multiple attacks in the state. A day before the sect had attacked a busy bus park in Sabon Gari, killing six people, though only one was confirmed dead by the Nigeria Police Force.
That bomb was encased in a refrigerator and wheeled into the park.
