VLADIMIR Putin has stunned the world by offering to hand over $1 BILLION to Donald Trump’s new “Board of Peace” — using the very same Russian assets frozen by the previous US administration.

In a move that could break the global deadlock, the Kremlin chief says he is ready to cough up the eye-watering sum to secure a seat at the table of Trump’s elite peacemaking club.

The Russian leader also signaled that the rest of his country’s “thawed” billions could be used to rebuild war-torn territories once a peace deal is finally signed between Russia and Ukraine.

Speaking from Moscow, a surprisingly grateful Putin thanked President Trump for the “personal invitation” to join the Board.

“We have always supported any efforts to reinforce international stability,” Putin said, in a televised address that appeared to extend a massive olive branch to the new White House.

He even took a swipe at Joe Biden’s team while praising Trump, noting that the “current US administration” is actually contributing to resolving the Ukraine crisis rather than fueling it.

The Art of the Deal?
The Russian President is now preparing to send his top negotiators to talk terms with Trump’s specialist team.

The deal hinges on a simple but audacious plan: The Down Payment: $1 Billion from frozen assets to join the Board of Peace immediately.

The Rebuild: Remaining billions to be funneled into “territories that suffered during hostilities.”

Hr said it only happens “once we sign a peace deal” to end the war.

Critics have long argued over what to do with the billions in Russian assets seized after the 2022 invasion.

Now, Putin is trying to flip the script—turning his “stolen” cash into a bargaining chip for a seat at the world’s most powerful new committee.

Launched by Donald Trump in January 2026, the Board of Peace is a high-stakes international body designed to bypass traditional diplomacy and “get things done.”

Based on Trump’s signature style, the Board offers permanent seats to nations willing to contribute $1 billion toward global reconstruction—starting with Gaza and potentially extending to Ukraine.

While several world leaders have already signed on, the inclusion of Putin marks the most controversial—and potentially ground-breaking—membership yet.
