Nigeria, Sep 30, 2016 – The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has embarked on one of the biggest road construction since he took over the reigns of power in May 2015.
The work which includes new design, alignment and drainage construction is aimed at eroding the perennial traffic congestion and flood in the area. And it has been on for almost four weeks with the work progressing at a very rapid pace, stretching across to Olowora axis.
It is one work that will reshape the entire axis when completed.
So far the pedestrian bridge on the express has been completed and has been an attraction in the area with works still ongoing on both side of the express for a very large bus stop to free the expressway of traffic.
