LAGOS, Nigeria – Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has been declared winner of the Presidential election in Lagos.
Peter Obi secured 582, 454 votes to defeat the Lion of Bordillon and Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who scored 572, 606.
Candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwakwanso scored 8, 442 while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar scored 75, 750 votes.
Meanwhile, the LP has rejected the results saying that the figures released were different from what was obtained by agents from the polling units in Lagos State.
