Says I am running to serve all Nigerians

    Admin I Friday, April 18, 2025

LAGOS, Nigeria – The presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 general election, M Peter Obi has met with the young boy, Quadri Yusuf Alabi, who stopped his convoy in the heat of the campaign showering him with unprecedented love.

Recall that undemocratic forces had arrested him even without a formal complain by Obi and he has been incarcerated since then until few days ago when he was discharged and acquitted.

Speaking during this unification, Obi said he is running as a president to serve all Nigerians and not a particular group.

He said he is grateful for the lawyer who fought for his release and all those who stood by him.

He said he listened to him and his unwaivering desire for education and to go back to school and complete his education despite the injustice he suffered.

Obi vowed to ensure that his desires come to pass.

He said Nigerians must not just stop at his release but to ensure that those behind his illegal incarceration are held accountable in the quest to build a Nigeria where fairness and equity are upheld.

“We must not allow such act of criminality to go unpunished”.
