KANO, Nigeria – Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Kano State, Mr. Rabiu Bichi has moved from the PDP to the All Progressive Congress(APC).
It is not clear why Bichi decided to dump his party. But we learnt that he left based on his personal conviction.
According to Daily Nigeria, Rabiu Bichi will officially announced his defection today in Kano.
“The decision of Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi was not related to the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement. It was purely based on principles and personal conviction,” a close political associate who preferred not to be named said.
“In the affairs of Kwankwasiyya, Rabiu Bichi has been lately rendered irrelevant, ostracised and sidelined from the decision-making of the Kwankwasiyya movement.
