According to him, those that died while in service, died out of natural sickness in their various home towns. Aremu said the corps members were  moved to their homes towns ,when NYSC could no longer handle their sickness.

He said the 18 persons who services were extended were 9 males and 9 females. Aremu, made the disclosure   on Thursday while handling over certificates to Corps members at Awka South local government area of the state during the passing out parade of the 2019 batch C stream one.

According to him, the sanctions meted out to the 19 NYSC members were meant to instill discipline and deter others from committing similar offenses.
