Nigeria now has the highest rate of unemployment globally

LAGOS – Nigeria under the administration of All Progressive Congress, APC has emerged as the country with the highest rate of unemployment globally.

 In a world statistics of unemployment released globally by World of  Statistics, Nigeria emerged first with 33.3 percent rate of unemployment, which is the last statistics of unemployment released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics since April, 2023.

 South Africa came second behind Nigeria with 32.9 percent in terms of unemployment. Spain is third with 13.26 percent rate of unemployment, followed by Greece with 11.2 percent rate of joblessness.

 Columbia is 5th when it comes to statistics of unemployment globally, followed Turkey 10 percent and Iran 9.7 percent rate of unemployment.

 Uruguay followed with 8.8 percent rate of joblessness, followed by Chile with 8.7 percent; Brazil 8.5 percent and Italy and India shares the same spot with 7.8 percent  rate of unemployment.

 Sweden is next with 7.5 percent rate of unemployment; Portugal with 7.2 percent and Egypt with 7.1 percent rate of unemployment.
