    “He will be sorely missed.”
NFF President Amaju Pinnick said the NFF and the Nigeria football family mourned with Adelakun on the passing of his father.
“Tunde (Adelakun) was in Nigeria to see his father just a few days before and was about boarding on his way back to London on Sunday when he was told on the phone that the man had passed on.

“We feel his pain and sorrow at thi

s moment, but we are consoled by the fact that late Pa Adelakun left his giant footprints in the sands of time. At the same time, we pray that Almighty God will grant the soul of the departed eternal rest, and also grant those he has left behind the fortitude to bear the big loss.”
