Nigeria, June 8, 2016 -Niger Delta Avengers blow up Chevron pipeline in Nigeria, June 7, 2016 – Militants operating in the Niger Delta Areas, known as Niger Delta Avenger this morning intensified their attacks on oil installations in the area.
In a statement on its official Tweeter page, the group said that it has blown up RMP 20 belonging to Chevron, located 20 metres away from Dibi Flow Station, in Warri North Local Government.
It is the second time the group is blowing up Chevron pipeline in the Niger Delta.
The group also said that it is not willing to negotiate with any committee, and that the purported discussion by the Federal Government with a group has nothing to do with Niger Delta Avengers.
The Niger Delta Avengers, which has said it is fighting to liberate the area from the shackles of the Nigerian Government during the week called on colleagues to desist from attacking the military and their aircrafts so as not to offend God.
The group which said it needed God on the side in the struggle called on all those in the struggle to assist the military if they are found in distress, stressing that the military is yet to attack anybody since their deployment to the region.
