ABUJA, Nigeria – The Supreme Court, looking into the case filed by three governors of the All Progressive Congress, APC  has adjourned  to March 3rd, after the presidential election holding on Saturday, February 25 throughout the federation.

The three APC  governors, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State,  Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State had  in the suit, marked SC/CV/162/2023 obtained an injunction from the apex court, restraining the Federal government and its agent, the Central Bank of Nigeria from enforcing the February 10 deadline for the expiration of the old N1000, N500 and N200 Naira banknote.  The court also joined nine other governors, mostly of APC  to the suit after extending the injunction.
