Lagos, Nigeria, June 24, 2016 – Residents of Igbolomu in Ikorodu area of Lagos have cried out to the state government to come to their rescue following unending attacks by alleged militant group.
They also appealed to the state police command to beef up security in the area and investigate the crisis in order to bring perpetrators to book.
Residents of Igbolomu woke up today to see some bodies on water in the area.
.Our Correspondent gathered that some residents of the area have began to abandon their homes for fear of further attacks by you suspected militants.
While reacting on the development on a monitored programme, spokeswoman of Lagos police command, Dolapo Badmus said there is no cause for alarm in Igbolomu.
According to her, the state police command has deployed team of policemen to the area advising residents to continue with their lawful businesses.
This is coming just as alleged militants invaded an Ogun community leaving as many as 15 dead.
