Lego Movie Shakes Box Office with $69.1 Million

It was indeed one of the best weeks at the box office in Hollywood since the beginning of the year with most of the films making the highest returns since the commencement of the year.

Coming behind in the fifth position is That Awkward Moment, a film that was put together by Focus Pictures. That film yielded the sum of $5.540 million after passing through 2,809 film viewing centres in the US to make it to that spot on the chart.

Frozen is still in contention, hanging on to the 4th position on the chart; a production of Buena Vista, Frozen made $6.914 million after passing through 2,460 cinemas in the US to make it to that position on the chart. Ride Along which was number one in the last two weeks was pushed to number 3 this week.

At number 2 is a new film, The Monuments Men, produced by Sony Pictures. The film made $22.7 million after featuring in 3,083 theatres in the US to get to that spot on the US box office. The Monuments Men is marketed by Sony Pictures.

However the most patronized movie at the US box office during the week was The Lego Movie put together by Warner Brothers. That film grossed a total sum of $61.110 million after touring 3,775 theatres in the US to emerge as the most supported film at the box office.

That film Lego Movie was produced with the sum of $60 million but grossed a total sum $61.110 million in just one week at the box office.
