AKIODU, Lagos, Nigeria- Caution has been thrown to the winds in Ojodu, Lagos as tricycles plying Ogba-Ojodu, motorcycles, commercial and private vehicles make it a rule to drive against traffic each time there is heavy traffic on Ogunnusi Road.
Our correspondent reports that they are so reckless that they even make jests of traffic policemen from Ojodu division who attempt to stop them from breaking the law.
“Usually, they come in numbers and they sometimes overwhelm policemen on duty”, a passerby told our correspondent.
“This is what you see regularly here, sometimes, the policemen are able to make arrest but the fact is that they overwhelm them by their numbers”, Moses, a regular commuter in the area said.
He called on the Lagos State Government to put LASTMA officials on stanby in the axis.
