According to an official statement released by the General Manager of LASPARK, Mrs. Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, the programme which is slated for Saturday, 20th April 2019 at Johnson Jakande Tinubu (JJT) Park, Alausa, Ikeja is meant to bring together private citizens from all walks of life in a tranquil environment to have a fun-filled Easter celebration, share knowledge through digital games and network towards a resourceful society.

Adebiyi-Abiola revealed that the concert themed “Networking in the Modern Age” is initiated to break people’s social inhibition by creating an interactive platform where they can exhibit their innate talents to proffer solutions to socio-economic impediments bedevilling our society.

“The programme is another affirmation of government’s commitment to lead the way in exposing its citizens to the concurrent benefits of communal interaction and at the same time building a society that is sufficiently capable of dealing with social challenges that are likely to erupt as the world is constantly changing its face”, she submitted.

The General Manager revealed that the initiative is expected to engender persistent interaction that will give rise to creative ideas and ingenuity to improve the life of the people in the emerging global village.

“In furtherance of the State Government’s consistency efforts in human and capital development, connecting citizenry with sustained opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere is a secure way of creating a future they desire”, the LASPARK Boss reiterated.

She added that the event which is meant to expose participants to the new leadership skills, entrepreneurial ingenuity and social innovation would also feature team bonding exercises and exhibitions from Non-Governmental Organisations.
