LAGOS, Nigeria – A wellbred lady who goes by the name Olamide(Sofiat) has offered an unreserved apology to all followers of Islam, for reciting the Quran half naked in a video which has gone viral.
Lady Olamide, Sophiat, dressed in a pair of jeans trousers and a blouse which exposed her sagging cleavage recited the Quran with a lot of zest and perfection except for her dressing when approached by blogger on a sampling mission.
Sopiat, who learnt the art of reciting the Quran from the Arabic school she attended, said she did the video just catching fun and that she did not know it will go viral, neither did she know it will tarnish the image of her religion, Islam.
“I am Sofiat, who made a video dressing half naked. I tender my apology to all Muslims.
“I did it to catch fun, I did not know that it will go viral. I am sorry , i will not do it again. I am a small child.
“I render my apology, I did not know it will tarnish the image of my religion”, she said in her appeal.
