SAUDI ARABIA – King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud today met with the family of international journalist, Jamal Khashoggi following mounting international pressure on the death of the journalist in Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
They met with the family shortly after President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan addressed parliament during which he said that Jamal Khashoggi was ferociously murdered and that it was a planned execution.
He has vowed to follow through with investigation to unravel the hidden mystery in the murder of the journalist, who has been described as an avid critic of the Saudi government.
Prior to the meeting, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had in a telephone call expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of the late Jamal Khashoggi.
Salah Khashoggi thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his condolences.Salah Khashoggi expressed his sincere thanks to HRH the Crown Prince for his condolences.
