JERUSALEM – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA, or Shin Bet) have announced the successful elimination of eight Hamas terrorists directly involved in the brutal October 7 massacres, including four key operatives responsible for the abduction of Noa Argamani, Avinatan Or, and Eitan Mor from the Nova music festival.
The operation, led by the Southern Command and conducted in cooperation with the Intelligence Directorate and the Israeli Air Force, targeted terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the onslaught against Israeli communities.
Following extensive intelligence analysis, the security bodies revealed the precise elimination of the eight operatives over several months of the ongoing war.
Terrorists Responsible for Nova Abductions
Among the most significant eliminations were four terrorists identified as playing a direct role in the abductions and subsequent captivity of Israeli civilians.
Ahmad Ibrahim Rajab Sha’er, eliminated on August 22, 2025, was identified as responsible for the abduction of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival. Ahmad Abu Marhil, eliminated on March 26, 2025, was also named as responsible for the abduction of Avinatan Or.
The terrorist Arafat Dib, eliminated on May 30, 2025, was held responsible for the abduction of Eitan Mor from the Nova festival and for holding him captive under the Hamas terrorist organization.
Additionally, Odeh Alyan Ahmad Qaware’a, eliminated on August 26, 2025, was targeted for holding Israeli hostages captive for the Hamas terrorist group.
Other October 7 Infiltrators Eliminated
The announcement also detailed the elimination of four other terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the massacre on October 7th:
Bakr Mujida (eliminated July 13, 2025), who infiltrated Israel and breached the border fence using a tractor.
Firas Gharir Suilem al-Hadaf (eliminated August 23, 2025), who infiltrated Kibbutz Kissufim.
Ibrahim Salah Rajab Bakhit (eliminated July 6, 2025), who infiltrated Israeli territory.
Muaid Mahmoud Muhammad Nofal (eliminated March 27, 2025), who also infiltrated Israeli territory.
The IDF and ISA stated that they have operated consistently throughout the war to neutralize the terrorists involved in the October 7th attacks, reaffirming the military’s commitment to pursuing those responsible for the unprecedented act of brutality and mass abduction.
