    Keke drivers commend Soludo for building good roads in Anambra

    AWKA, Nigeria – Over 500 tricycle operators in Anambra state on Monday commended governor Charles Soludo for deploying their taxes for the construction of good roads in the state.

    The Tricycle operators under the umbrella of Anambra State State Keke Drivers Forum AKDF said during a project tour in Awka that the governor is really doing well in road construction and others.

    They commended the Governor for building roads so that their Tricycle could ply roads with ease. Speaking during the tour,the Convener of AKDF comrade Osita Obi said the reason for the tour was to see what their taxes are used for.

    According to him,the Keke drivers are happy with what the governor is doing with their taxes in the state and promised to give him all the support .

    “The governor is doing wonderful well and we have full confidence that before his first four years tenure is ended ,he must have completed all the roads in Awka and Anambra State. Our governor is wonderful,we need to urged other Keke drivers who are yet to join the government tax net to do so immediately,because we can see where our money is going into” he said .

    One of the Keke drivers Mr Collins Ude said that he is sincerely satisfied with the work the governor is doing in the state.

    According to him,the governor has demonstrated that he has what it takes to change the state to Dubai as he promised.

    ” I sincerely want to thank the governor for his good work. I was plying this iche Nebe roads some years back and it was extremely bad. You cannot ply the road twice without going to the mechanic but today all is history. The bad roads were spoiling our Keke and today the governor has fixed it and we can drive without problem. I want other Keke drivers and Ndi Anambra to key into the government tax net because the governor is really working with our money” he said .

    Amose Nweke on his own said he left the route because of bad roads but today he is happy that the road is good and those Keke drivers are happy.

    According to him,the governor promised them good roads and he is delivering good roads to them , noting that this is a good sign that he will fulfill all the promises he made including driving away tout and illegal tax collectors in the state.

    Another Keke driver, Pastor Don Chidi,said that he thanked God for using Soludo to put smiles on the faces of keke drivers in the state. He also stated that the governor has driven away the touts and illegal tax collector’s harassing them on the roads.
