    KANO DEPUTY GOV, PROF HAFIZ ABUBAKAR RESIGNS

    KANO, Nigeria – Deputy Governor of Kano State, Professor Hafiz Abubakar has resigned even as he pictorically sent hint to the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) that time is ticking out as rumour of his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) spreads.




    In his letter of resignation, Hafiz Abubakar said he would have loved to remain as Deputy Governor till May 2019, when tenure of the current governor would lapse. He explained that the current disposition of government has made it impossible for him to remain as deputy governor.

    Professor Hafiz Abubakar said that the present governor has failed to react appropriately to the fears he expressed about current state of governmance and injustice metted out to him. See letter below.
