LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood superstar, John Okafor alias Mr. Ibu has denounced reports that he is down with stroke. The actor who has featured in a number of films warned Nigerians to beware of gossips to avoid what he is going through right now.
He however thanked his fans, family and friends, stressing that he is hale and hearty.
“Beware of gossips to avoid what am going through right now.want to says a very big thank you to my fans,friends and family.am hail and healthy.Thank You For Your Fights.”, he said.
Besides, he wrote”, I am very fine, I reject any sickness or stroke”
John Okafor came to limelight when he played Mr. Ibu in the comedy movie, Mr. Ibu. For the success the film recorded, he assumed the name Ibu in a number films. He has featured in over 200 films among which are Mr.Ibu (2004), Mr.Ibu in London (2004), Police Recruit(2003), 9 Wives (2005), Ibu in Prison (2006) and Keziah (2007).
