    Jaibreak: Jonathan Sacks Saleh, Comptroller of Prisons

    Aminu Suleh, sacked comptroller of prisons in Nigeria

    December 5, 2014 – President Goodluck Jonathan today sacked Comptroller General of Prisons, Mr. Aminu Saleh over recent incidents of prison breaks across the federation.

    He also replaced him with Dr. Peter Ezenwa Ekpendu who hails from Ibeku Okwuato in Mbaise Local Government area of Imo State.

    Ekpendu had his Primary school Education at St Patrick’s School Ibeku, Okwuato in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area and his Secondary School education at Mbaise Secondary School, Aboh Mbaise.

    He later attended TTeachers’ Training College Emekuku, Owerri before moving to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka for his first degree.

    Over 300 inmates recently escaped from prion in Ekiti state when gun men storm the area.
