TEL AVIV – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has said it has eliminated six Naval Commandos in the Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas.
In a statement the IDF said it was eliminated in a joint operations conducted by the Israeli Navy, the Intelligence Directorate, the ISA, and the Southern Command over the past few months.
The IDF said they were eliminated during Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”.
According to IDF, the Commandos who were eliminated had planned terror activities at sea against Israeli civilians and security forces during the “Swords of Iron” War.
The IDF said several of the eliminated Commandos were involved in planning the brutal massacre of October 7th.
“As part of the ongoing combat efforts led by the Southern Command, the IDF and the ISA are operating against Hamas’ naval force, thwarting numerous terror targets — including naval vessels, weapons storage facilities, and other related Hamas assets”, the IDF said.
