IDF reveals daring strike on IRGC ‘Terror Academy’ where fanatics built chemical weapons and ballistic missiles in underground bunkers

ISRAELI warplanes have dealt a “paralyzing” blow to the Iranian regime by obliterating a secret weapons complex hidden beneath a major Tehran university.
Dramatic new intel released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirms that elite commandos and airstrikes targeted Imam Hossein University—the crown jewel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
While the regime claimed the site was a center for higher education, the IDF revealed it was actually a “front for terror,” housing underground wind tunnels and chemical laboratories used to build the very missiles currently threatening the West.
The university, commanded by Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Hassani Shahnegari, was used as a human shield to hide Iran’s most dangerous military projects.
IDF sources say the strike specifically took out:
THE TERROR TUNNELS: Massive wind tunnels built deep beneath the campus used to test the aerodynamics of long-range ballistic missiles.
THE TOXIC LABS: A dedicated chemistry center where scientists worked on developing illegal chemical weapons.
THE WAR ROOM: A high-tech engineering hub where the IRGC developed new ways to increase the lethality of their drone and missile fleets.
A spokesperson for the IDF said the operation was designed to “inflict significant damage” to the regime’s ability to manufacture and develop advanced weaponry.
”Under civilian cover, research and development for advanced weaponry were conducted within the university,” the IDF stated. “The infrastructure destroyed can now be revealed to the world.”
The university has long been under international sanctions, but this strike is the first time the heart of the IRGC’s academic and technological brain has been physically dismantled.
Photographs released by the Israeli military show Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei previously visiting the site to inspect the “scholars” who were, in reality, masterminding Iran’s global terror network.
Founded in 1986, the university is not a typical school. It is the primary training ground for IRGC officers. While it offers degrees in “civilian” subjects, its primary function is “Force Buildup”—training the next generation of commanders and weapon scientists to serve the Ayatollah.
The strike comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. Israel has shifted its strategy from hitting proxy groups like Hezbollah and Hamas to striking the “Head of the Snake” in Tehran. By targeting the university, Israel is not just destroying hardware; it is destroying the intellectual and developmental hub of Iran’s military industry.
The university has been a target of UK, US, and EU sanctions for years due to its role in Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs. Brigadier General Shahnegari, the man in charge, is considered a key figure in the regime’s “Export of Revolution”—the policy of funding and arming terror groups across the globe.
The destruction of the wind tunnels is a massive setback for Tehran. These facilities are essential for testing how missiles fly at high speeds. Without them, Iran’s missile development could be set back by years. Similarly, the hit on the chemistry center signals that Israel has precise intelligence on Iran’s chemical warfare ambitions, which the regime has long tried to keep secret.
