GAZA, Palestine – The Israeli Defence Forces, IDF has intensified targeted killing of journalists in the Gaza Strip.

The latest are 4 local journalists who were sheltering at the Al-Maamadani Hospital in the Gaza Strip after they were jolted and chased away from the temporary camps by persistent attacks from the Israeli occupation forces.

A fifth journalist critically injured is still receiving treatment in hospital.

This attack took place just as an online video portrayed the IDF bombing two unarmed Palestinians, one with the food item  collected from the distribution center in Gaza walking home to feed dear ones.

    The late journalists are:

    1. Suleiman Hajjaj – Correspondent for Palestine Today TV
    2. Ismail Baddah – Cameraman for Palestine Today TV
    3. Samir Al-Rifai – Journalist with Shams News Agency
    4. Ahmad Qalja – Cameraman for Al-Araby TV, who later succumbed to critical injuries sustained in the attack.

The fifth journalist, Imad Daloul who is a correspondent for Palestine Today TV, survived the attack but remains critically wounded.
