LAGOS, Nigeria – Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu was in Ikoyi last night, February 25 after the presidential and national assembly election in Lagos.
Former president of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Mr. Charles Oputa who made the allegation on his social media handle said the boss of INEC also met with some unknown individuals in Ikoyi.
He added that the INEC chairman also departed Lagos with the private jets of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Abuja.
The former PMAN president is demanding that the INEC boss should tell Nigerians what he went to do in Ikoyi on the night of the election.
“INEC chairman should tell Nigerians what he came to Ikoyi, Lagos to do last night being 25th February, 2023.
“INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu sneaked into Lagos at night of the election and met with some uknonw persons in Ikoyi.
“My main concern is that he arrived and left in Tinubu’s private “, he quoted Chief Olabode George as saying.
