MINNA, Niger – Former military dictator, Gen. Ibrahim Bababangida rtd has said that 80 percent of Nigerians are happy with the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hence it is impossible for the military step in.

Babangida who was writing on X said the 80 percent of Nigeria are ready to support Tinubu and his administration based on statistics, adding that the development is commendable.

He explained that for a coup to be staged, 78 percent of a country citizen must have expressed their frustration about the government, which he said is currently not the case and therefore impossible for military to take over.

“For a coup to be staged; 78% of a country’s citizens must have expressed their frustrations to the government; after that, we proceed to have a Military Takeover.

“Recent stats indicates that 80% of Nigerians are happy and ready to support the government which is commendable”, he said.
