    SAYS I LOOK FORWARD TO LEADERSHIP WITH 21ST CENTURY TRENDS, INNOVATIVE APPROACH

    MINNA, Niger – Former Military Head of State Gen Ibrahim Babangida has said that he will not be supporting any candidate in the 2019 general elections but that he will only be supporting the will of the people.




    The former President who has hailed the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari for recongsing June 12 as Democracy Day, said he is however looking forward to a new style of leadership that can go ahead to head with 21st century trends and innovative approach.

    The former Head of State also said that after his administration, no administration has given Nigerians a better life he did during his ternure. He said three square meals, good roads, unemployed graudates and terrorism was never a problem for Nigeria, yet he is referred to as a bad person.

    “I will not be supporting any candidate in 2019 general election; I will only be supporting the will of the people. However, I am looking forward to a new style of leadership that can go head to head with 21st century trends and innovative approach.

    “After my administration left the office; no administration has given Nigerians a better life than I did during my tenure. Three square meals; good roads, unemployed graduates and terrorism was never a problem for Nigerian. Yet IBB is the bad person”, h e said.
