ISRAELI forces have decapitated the inner circle of Hezbollah after a precision strike in Beirut “eliminated” the nephew and personal advisor of the terror group’s new chief.
In a massive blow to the organization’s leadership, the IDF confirmed they successfully targeted Ali Yusuf Harshi—the right-hand man to Secretary-General Naim Qassem.
Harshi wasn’t just family; he was the gatekeeper. As Qassem’s personal secretary and advisor, he was the man responsible for managing the terror leader’s secret office and orchestrating his movements.
Night of Fire
The assassination was part of a wider, devastating night of strikes across Lebanon. While Harshi was being hunted in the capital, Israeli jets were busy turning Hezbollah’s logistics network into scrap metal.
The Litani River Hit: Two vital river crossings—used by commanders to ferry thousands of rockets and launchers from the north to the front lines—were reduced to rubble.
The Arsenal Blitz: At least 10 major weapons depots and command centers across southern Lebanon were vaporized in a series of secondary explosions.
An IDF spokesperson confirmed: “Harshi played a central role in managing and securing the office of Naim Qassem. His elimination significantly disrupts the terror group’s command and control.”
THE BACKGROUND: A Leadership Under Fire
The killing of Harshi marks a terrifyingly personal escalation for Naim Qassem.
Qassem took the reins of Hezbollah only recently, following the spectacular assassination of longtime leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was buried under his own headquarters by Israeli “bunker-buster” bombs in September.
Since then, Israel has systematically picked off Nasrallah’s successors and inner circle. By taking out Harshi, Israeli intelligence is sending a chilling message to Qassem: We know who is in the room with you.
