GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas has said that with the unprecedented calls within Israel on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt this bloodbath in Gaza and free the captives shows the Prime Minister is acting alone and solely responsible for the suffering of the captives and Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas said the war is now beyond Israel’s national interest but purely to perpetuate and further his personal ambition.
“The escalating calls within the occupying entity to stop the war and free the prisoners confirm Netanyahu’s responsibility for perpetuating the war and for the suffering of his prisoners and our people”, Hamas said.
According to Hamas, the blood of Gaza’s children and the occupation’s prisoners are victims of Netanyahu’s ambitions to remain in power and escape prosecution”.
Hamas said, the equation is clear: the release of prisoners in exchange for a cessation of hostilities”, adding that the world accepts it, but that Netanyahu rejects it.
“Every day of delay means more killing of our unarmed civilians, and an unknown fate for the occupation’s prisoners”.
