GAZA, Palestine – The Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas has reacted to President Donald Trump’s 60 days ceasefire proposal.
In a statement, Spokesman of Hamas, Jihad Taha said it is approaching the offer with a spirit of positivity and flexibility in a manner that serves the interest of national and humanitarian causes that would end the aggression on Gaza.
He added that Hamas is holding consultations with Palestinian resistance factions to formulate a unified Palestinian stance, in addition to a series of regional meetings and contacts to ensure the success of efforts and endeavors to halt the aggression and compel the occupation to abide by what is agreed upon without prevarication or procrastination.
“Hamas is approaching the offers presented to it with a spirit of positivity and flexibility, in a manner that serves the interests of our people and their national and humanitarian causes, and leads to an end to the aggression.
“Hamas is holding consultations on this with Palestinian resistance factions to formulate a unified Palestinian stance, in addition to a series of regional meetings and contacts to ensure the success of efforts and endeavors to halt the aggression and compel the occupation to abide by what is agreed upon without prevarication or procrastination”.
