October 21, 2015 – Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets early this morning humbled Chile 5 -1 in the group stage of the ongoing FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Chile.
The defeat of the host, Chile by the Nigerian lads puts the Eaglets in comfortable lead in the group with just one match to move into the next round.
The Eaglets who earlier in the week beat US Under 17 team 2- 0 will now play Croatia on Friday in a match that is expected to be a mere formality.
The Eaglets scored their first goal within 30 seconds courtesy Samuel Chukwueze.
