    Gaza: Modality for release in prisoners exchange deal

    GAZA, Palestine – The Prisoners Media Office in Palestine has released modality for the release of prisoners tomorrow Sunday in the prisoners exchange deal between Hamas and Israel.

    According to Riyad Al-Ashqar, Director of the Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies, there will be gradual release, Not All at Once.

    – The prisoners will not be released in a single wave.
    – Although the occupation has published lists of their names on the Prison Authority’s website (a routine procedure to allow for objections), the process will not occur simultaneously.

    Implementation in Several Batches:

    – The release will take place over 4-6 weeks.
    – Each week, a new batch of prisoners will be freed.
    –
    The full number will be completed within 42 days, unless the duration is shortened through efforts by mediators.

    Negotiations Are Ongoing:
    – The second phase of the deal will be negotiated during this period.
    – It will involve identifying new names and numbers of detainees to be released in exchange for occupation captives.
