PORT HARCOURT – There is now a full blown war in River State between former governor of River State, Mr. Nyesom Wike, now Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and his stooge and current governor of the state, Mr. Siminalaye Fubara.
Wike moved against Fubara following his decision to sack Chief of Staff Chidi Amadi and Chief Security Officer, Promise Wosu, Wike’s eyes in the River State Government House.
This is expected to be followed by mass purge of Wike’s commissioner appointees in Fubara’s government including Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
Wike, acting through his stooges, wanted Fubara removed at all cost and he hatched a plot through the lawmakers, which are mostly Wike’s men.
But we gathered that the Leader of the River State House of Assembly, Elderson Ejie fought spiritedly with the Wike’s men to halt this ugly trend.
The fall out of the plot was the explosion, which rocked the Rivers House of Assembly, forcing the lawmakers to relocate.
It is not clear who is behind the explosion but it seems it was all part of a plot to ensure that the lawmakers did not have their way and they are now running over the place in the quest to satisfy their master who is in Abuja.
