WASHINGTON, United States – Director Federal Bureau of Investigation,  Christopher Wray has named Suzanne Turner as the special agent in charge of the FBI’s San Diego Field Office.  Suzanne Turner most recently served as deputy assistant director of the Training Division.

Ms. Turner began her career as an FBI special agent in 1998 and was assigned to the San Diego Field Office, where she has spent much of her career. Initially, she was assigned to work violent crime, including bank robberies, but soon moved to investigating major Mexican narcotics cases.

In 2001, Suzanne Turner was transferred to work on counterterrorism in San Diego as part of the team investigating the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In 2003, she transitioned to investigate public corruption for several years.

In 2007, Suzanne Turner was promoted to supervisory special agent in San Diego and worked corporate, securities, and health care fraud and served as the white-collar crime and asset forfeiture manager. In 2011, she transferred to San Diego’s Human Intelligence Squad.
