King tells the world: “Nobody is above the law”

    By THE SCM REPORTER
    19 Feb 2026

THE disgraced former Prince Andrew was dramatically ARRESTED today as police swooped on his home on his 66th birthday.

In a dawn raid that has rocked the Monarchy to its core, six unmarked police vehicles and eight plain-clothes officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate to take the man now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor into custody.

The arrest follows explosive allegations that the former “Air Miles Andy” used his role as a UK trade envoy to leak confidential government documents to billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The Duke of York is being held on suspicion of misconduct in public office. It is alleged that during his ten-year stint as a trade representative, he passed sensitive investment reports and diplomatic briefings to Epstein.

Scotland Yard and Thames Valley Police confirmed that searches are currently being carried out at addresses in:
Berkshire: Near his former residence at Royal Lodge.

Norfolk: At the Sandringham Estate where he has been living in seclusion.

In an unprecedented move, King Charles III issued a stinging statement just hours after the arrest, making it clear there would be no royal “get out of jail free” card for his younger brother.

”I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,” the King said.

“The law must take its course. The authorities have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”

This morning’s arrest is the final nail in the coffin for Andrew’s public life. Once the hero of the Falklands, he was stripped of his HRH titles and military affiliations in 2022 following the Virginia Giuffre scandal.

The current investigation was triggered by the recent release of the “Epstein Files”—three million pages of U.S. Department of Justice documents.

Anti-monarchy group Republic reported Andrew to the police after emails surfaced appearing to show him forwarding official trade visit reports from Singapore and Hong Kong to Epstein’s private servers.

Under UK law, misconduct in public office is a serious common law offence that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

2022: Stripped of royal titles and settles civil sex assault case.

Jan 2026: Millions of Epstein documents released by U.S. courts.
Feb 19, 2026: Arrested at Sandringham on his 66th birthday.
