    #EndSARS memorial procession holds in Lagos

    LEKKI, Lagos, Nigeria – Two years after the #EndSARS massacre at the Lekki Toll Gate, a procession in honour of those killed  at the Lekki toll gate in the quest to end police brutality and bring about a better police force, well equipped with good salaries will hold in the Lekki axis.

    The procession is billed to hold in the Lekki axis.  In a flyer shared by Mr. Macoroni, the procession is billed to hold between 8am-11am on Thursday, exactly the anniversary of the massare.

    However, all those taking part in the procession are not to assembly at the Lekki toll gate but they are to walk or drive through the toll gate, blare their hons, sirens and make the largest noise possible, sing and wave the Nigerian flag as the go through the Lekki toll gate, scene of the massacre.

    “Citizens are encouraged to visit the toll gate throughout the day to pay their respect to the dead in their own way”, he said.

    “Peaceful Walk tomorrow in honor of all #EndSars and Police Brutality Victims!!! We no go fit ever forget!”, he added.

    The organisers are also offering free ride to Nigerians who lacked the means to  attend the solemn occasion> #EndSARSmemorial2#October2020#WeWillNeverForget.
