PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – Rivers State Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Emmanuel Chiwenwo Aguma is dead. He died today in a London Hospital after a brief illness, the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Emmanuel Okah has announced.
The Rivers state government commended the commissioner stressing that he was an exemplary worker commited to duty even on his sick bed.
The commissioner said the state government has declared that all flags be flown half-mast with effect from Saturday, August 11 to mourn the commissioner.
The state government said they will miss his service but called on people of the state to remember him, his wife and children and wished the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
