KADUNA, Nigeria – Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has dismissed 19 political appointees as part of the first phase of right-sizing of the government.
Among the 19 political appointees dismissed are Deputy Chief of Staff, Legislative, Bala Yunusa Mohammed, Special Assistant to DCOSL, Halima Musa Nagogo, Special Assistant to DCOSL, Umar Abubakar, Special Adviser Political Ben. S. D Kure, Special Adviser, SAD Pol, Mustapha Lynda Nyusha, Special Adviser SAD, Pol, Jamilu Gwarzala Dan Mutum and Special Assistant Political, Umar Haruna.
Others are Special Adviser Social Development, Zainab Shehu, Special Adviser to SAD SD, Stephen Hezron, SSA Stakeholders Relations, Mohammed Bello Shuaibu, SSA Youth, Aliyu Haruna, SA Creative Arts, Halima Idris, DG Public Procurement Authority, Eng Aliyu Alhaji Salihu, SA Community Relations, Ashiru Zuntu, SSA Saida Sa’ad, SA Programmes Elias Yahaya, SA to SSG Tasiu Suleiman Yakaji, SA Economic Matter, Samuel Hadwayah and SSA Environment, Ahmed Mohammed Gero.
In a statement, Sir Kashim Ibrahim House said these officials constitute the first phase of political appointees to depart the public service during the exercise.
He said that Nasir el-Rufai has thanked them for their service to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
