    EFCC declares Mompha, social media billionaire wanted

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has declared social media billionaire,  Ismaila Mustapha otherwise called Mompha wanted.

    The EFCC declared him wanted following his disappearance and refusal to attend his ongoing trial at a Special Offences Court, sitting  Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria.

    In declaring him wanted, the EFCC wrote:” The general public is hereby notified that Ismaila Mustapha, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of Retention of Proceeds of Criminal conduct, possession of documents containing false pretences, false assets declaration and laundering of proceeds of unlawful conduct”, the EFCC said.

    Mompha disappeared shortly after he was granted bail by  Justice  Mojisola Dada and for two consecutive trial, Mompha was no where to be found.

    Ismaila Mustapha, who is 38 years old hails from Ogbomoso Local Government of Oyo State, adding that his last address was 21 Fagbenro Street, Idi-Araba, Surulere, Lagos.
