EAF foundation lavishes N150 million on palliatives

LAGOS, Nigeria – As parts of its contributions to meet the demands and soothe the effects of the hardship caused by the 4 weeks lockdown and other measures put in place by the federal government to fight the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, Ebele and Anyichuks Foundation (EAF) has committed N150 million to support the federal and state governments.

The EAF provided palliatives in terms of cash transfers, face mask, hand sanitisers and hand gloves to people in Ebonyi, Lagos and Ogun State.

Chief Executive Officer of the foundation Chief Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii promised to continue to reach out to the needy as he has done previously in his charitable works.

Mr. Pasona Stanley, a beneficiary of EAF kind gesture said Odii has earlier supported Isu residents in Lagos with the total sum of N10 Million Naira, as he also extended same gesture to his people residing in Abuja, Anambra and Enugu states, with additional N5 Million Naira.

Stanley said “It’s quite worrisome that the global pandemic has caused sudden hardship as many families struggle to pay their bills, feed or take care of their overall essential needs.

For him, it is indeed a moment that calls for sober reflection and a time to be charitable to mankind.
