WASHINGTON, United States – In a matter of hours, President-elect , Donald J Trump will be inaugurated as the 58th President of the United States of America.
Born June 14, 1946, Trump, an American businessman and television personality will be inaugurated at the age of 70, about the oldest and perhaps the richest to be inaugurated as President of the U.S.
Born in Queens, New York, Trump has a degree in Economics from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. He has made a success of himself in business with a net worth of $4. 5 billion and listed by Forbes as the 324th richest person in the world.
Trump announced his candidacy for U.S President in June 2015 and in a short while emerged front-runner among 17 contenders in the Grand Old Party, GOP following his aggressive campaign and ability to say what politicians shy away from. Only the minority in his party and in the international community gave him the chance to survive the primaries but he proved all of them wrong.
He was formerly nominated as candidate of his party, the Republican Party with Mike Pence as his running mate in July , 2016 even with a lot of wrangling from his party.
He started the campaign on a high note but with controversies latched upon by his opponent in the Democratic Party. Many thought he would not make it, even with President Barack Obama declaring that he will never win.
He proved all bookmakers wrong in the November 9, 2016 election by defeating candidate of the Democratic Party, Hilary Clinton to become the President-elect.
He is already in Washington D.C where he is writing his inaugural speech in preparation for his inauguration tomorrow, January 20, 2017. Already, business is already abuzz with many selling items in preparation for this grand inauguration, as world leaders fly into Washington D.C for the grand inauguration of the most power president in the world.
His inaugural speech is likely to be a reaffirmation of his economic plans for the United States of America, which is to grant tax incentives to industries to set up in American soil and create jobs for Americans.
He is also going to talk of his firm stand against illegal immigrants, building of wall of Mexico which he said will be paid for by Mexico and review of foreign policies which he sees to be inimical to the interest of America.
He is also going to call on Americans irrespective of party affiliation to join hands with him to make America Great.
