    Dangote Refinery drops N20 from price of petrol

    LEKKI, Lagos – Dangote Refinery has announced reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit,PMS better known as petrol.

    In a statement, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Dangote Group said the company reduced the price by N20 to marketers from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.

    He said the gesture is the company’s way of appreciating Nigerians for their unwavering support in the realization of the dream of the Dangote Refinery.

    He also thanked government for the support adding that it will complement government efforts to refine petroleum locally.

    He said Dangote Refinery will not compromise on the quality of petroleum products, assuring of best quality products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable.

    While dispelling fear of any shortage in supply, he assured that Dangote will continue to ramp up production to surpass domestic consumption.
