    COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 20 fresh cases

    LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed twenty additional cases of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing it to a total of 210 cases in Nigeria.

    According to NCDC, out of the 20 new cases of COVID-19, 11 were confirmed in Lagos, 3 in Abuja, 3 in Edo State, 2 in Osun State and 1 in Ondo State, making a total of 20 new cases.

    “Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State. As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”, he said.

    Globally, a there are now 1,088, 878 confirmed cases with 58, 382 deaths. The highest death so far coming from Italy with 14, 681.

    But the United States leads with the highest number of confirmed cases, reporting 273, 880 confirmed cases. So far, a total of 225, 438 people have recovered after undergoing treatment for COVID-19
