IKOYI, Lagos – A Federal High Court sitting in iKoyi, Lagos today granted an interim injunction baring the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC from using Musliu Akinsanya alias MC Oluomo to convey election materials in Lagos State.
The court granted the injunction less than five days to the Presidential and National Assembly election slated for Saturday, February 25, 2023.
Governorship candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour made the announcement with his team of lawyers on his tweeter handle.
“I am happy to announce this morning, we successfully acquired an injunction baring INEC Lagos State from dealing in anyway, shape or form with MC Oluomo or any of his associated agencies.
“I am grateful to God almighty and my legal team and to the people of Lagos”, he wrote.
