    Coronavirus: Nigeria lists 393 cases 2212 deaths in the USA

    LAGOS – The  Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 393 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to  202, 191. But out of the 202, 191 confirmed cases, 190, 901 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 661 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 8629 active cases, while 6 patients died in the last 24 hours.

    “NCDC: 393 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria: FCT- 121, Lagos – 86, Edo- 70,  Delta – 30, Rivers – 24, Plateau – 16,  Benue – 11, Cross River – 10,  Abia – 8, Bayelsa – 4, Gombe – 4, Bauchi – 3,  Kano -3,Adamawa – 2, Taraba – 1:  202, 191confirmed ;  190,  901 discharged; 2, 661 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 228, 981, 729 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 5, 951, 319,473 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States of America has reported 42, 275, 963  confirmed cases,  while 675, 975 patients have passed on(190, 305 new and 2212 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 33, 478, 419  all time cases, while 445,133 patients are no more(35, 256 new and 295 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 21, 247,667 confirmations, while 590, 955 patients are no more(7884 new and 203 deaths*).

    The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting  7, 500, 495 confirmations, while 135,588 lives have been wasted(35, 968 new and  54 deaths*), followed by Russia with 7, 189, 445  all time cases and 195, 438 deaths(19, 376 new and 767 deaths*) and  France which has documented 7, 045,  422 confirmed cases,  while 116, 759 patients are no more(1547 new and 63 deaths*).

    Turkey has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 6, 874, 917 all time cases, while 61, 805 lives have been taken by the virus(54, 086 new and 444 deaths*), followed by Iran with  5,442,232 all time cases, while 117, 526 deaths(17, 397 new and 344 deaths*) and Argentina which has reported 5, 239, 232  confirmed cases, while 114, 428  patients have died from the pandemic(622 new and 61 deaths*).

    Colombia remains the 10th country worst hit, now reporting 4, 942,  249 all time cases, while 125,924 lives have been wasted(2998 new and 64 deaths*) and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa. South Africa has reported 2, 884, 134  all time cases, while 86, 216 patients are no more(1504 new and 42 deaths*).
