    Coronavirus: Nigeria lists 176 new cases 7,677 active and Chile 13, 026

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 176 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 57,613.

    Out of the 57,613 total cases, 48,836 patients have been discharged, while 1,100  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7,677 active cases of Coronavirus.

    Breakdown of the new cases is  as follows, Lagos-73, Plateau-50, FCT-17, Rivers-8, Ondo-6, Niger-5, Ogun-5, Edo-3, Kaduna-3, Oyo-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1 and Nasarawa-1, making a total of 176 new cases of the virus.  

    “NCDC@NCDCgov176 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-73, Plateau-50, FCT-17, Rivers-8, Ondo-6, Niger-5, Ogun-5, Edo-3, Kaduna-3, Oyo-2, Bauchi-1, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1 and Nasarawa-1 ; 57,613 confirmed 48,836 discharged 1,100 deaths”, NCDC said in a statement.

    Meanwhile there are now 31, 439,197 confirmed cases,  967, 197 deaths, while 21, 549,919 patients have recovered, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

    According to the centre, the United States remains worst hit with 6, 885, 499  all time cases even as the death toll  hits 200, 558 in the U.S, while 2, 615, 974 others have been able to overcome this strange ailment, leaving the U.S with  4, 068, 967  active cases of the Coronavirus pandemics(54, 277 cases in the last 24 hours), followed by India with 5, 562, 663 confirmed cases, 88, 935 patients already dead, while  4, 497, 867 others have survived, leaving India with 975, 861   Coronavirus patients to assist to point of recovery(75, 083 cases in the last 24 hours) and Brazil, which has documented 4, 558, 040  all time cases, 137, 272 patients are already gone, while 3, 993, 432  others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Brazil with 427, 336 patients to treat for the virus(13, 411 cases in the last 24 hours).

    Russia, the 4th country worst hit by the virus has recorded 1, 111, 157 cases of Coronavirus, 19, 575  others have died, while   914, 923  patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving Russia with  176, 659 patients in need of medication, followed by Colombia which has reported 770, 435 all time cases,  24, 397 deaths and 640, 900 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 105, 138 patients down with Coronavirus hoping for the best to get back on their feet(5, 359 cases in the last 24 hours) and Peru with 768,895  confirmed cases, 31, 369 deaths and 607, 837 recoveries, leaving Peru with 129, 689 active cases of Coronavirus.

    Mexico, now the 7th nation most affected by the virus has reported 700, 580 all time  cases,  73, 697 lives have been lost, while  596, 317  others are back on their feet, leaving Mexico with 30, 566 patients in dire need of assistant to overcome the virus(2, 917 new cases), followed by Spain with 682, 267 confirmed cases, 30, 904 patients are no more, while about 150, 376 patients have been discharged, leaving Spain with 500, 987  active cases of Coronavirus(10, 799 cases in the last 24 hours), followed by South Africa with 663, 282 cases confirmed over time, 16, 118 patients have passed on, while 592, 904 others have  been given clean bill of health, leaving  South Africa  with 54, 260  patients to assist to get back on their feet(1, 346 new cases).

    Argentina currently stands as the 10th  country worst hit, documenting 640, 147  cases over time, 13, 482 patients are no more while  508, 563 others are now doing well, leaving Argentina with 118, 102 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 782 new cases), followed by France with 506, 982 all time cases, 31, 424 deaths and 94, 961 recoveries, leaving France with 380, 597 active cases of the virus(10, 131 new cases), followed Chile, which has documented 448,523  cases confirmed over time, 12, 321 others already dead, while 423, 176   patients  have been discharged, leaving Chile with 13, 026 active cases of the virus.

    Iran, now the 13th worst hit by the virus  has reported 429,193 all time cases,  24, 656  patients are now dead, while 363,737   others have  overcome the virus, leaving Iran with 40, 800 patients in need of medical attention to get back on their feet, followed by the United Kingdom, which has documented  406, 054 cases since the first case was recorded, 41, 951 patients have given up the ghost, while only 2, 229 others have been assisted to overcome the virus, leaving  the U.K with 361, 874 patients hoping for the best to get back on their feet (4, 932 new cases)and then Italy now the 20th country worst hit.

    Italy has reported 300, 897 all time cases of the virus, 35, 738 others have lost their lives, while 219, 670 others have been declared healthy leaving Italy with 45, 489 active cases of Coronavirus(1, 391 new cases), followed by China now  the 40th nations most hit by the virus with 90, 389 confirmed cases, 4, 737 lives have been snatched away by the virus, while 85, 257 others have overcome the pandemic, leaving China with 395 active cases of the virus.
