    Coronavirus: Nigeria 153 new cases 7437 active as India leads new cases with 86 821

    LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 153 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 59, 001.

    But out of the 59,001 all time cases,  50, 452  patients have been discharged, while 1,112  others are no more, leaving Nigeria with 7, 437 active cases of Coronavirus.

    Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-81, Rivers-21, Abuja-11, Ogun-8, Kaduna-7, Oyo-6, Akwa Ibom-5, Osun-3, Katsina-3, Edo-2, Ebonyi-2, Nasarawa-2,  Plateau-1 and Kano-1, making 153 new cases of #coronavirusngr.

    “NCDC@NCDCgov153 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-81, Rivers-21, FCT-11, Ogun-8, Kaduna-7, Oyo-6, Akwa Ibom-5, Osun-3, Katsina-3, Edo-2, Ebonyi-2, Nasarawa-2,  Plateau-1 and Kano-1; 59,001 confirmed 50,452 discharged 1,112 deaths”, the NCDC said in a statement.

    Meanwhile, there are now 34, 136, 078 confirmed cases, 1,016, 970 patients already dead, while 23, 711, 591  others have survived, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has said.

    According to the centre, the United States remains worst hit by the virus reporting 7, 273, 244  all time cases, 207, 651 deaths while 2, 840, 747 others have been discharged, leaving the United States with 4, 224, 846 active cases of Coronavirus(53, 609 new cases), followed by India with 6, 312, 584  confirmed cases, 98, 678 patients already dead, while 5, 273, 201 others have overcome the virus, leaving India with 940, 705  Coronavirus patients hoping for the best to get back to normal life(86, 821 new cases) and Brazil which has confirmed 4, 810, 935   cases over time, 143, 952 patients have passed on while 4, 274, 774 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Brazil with 392, 209 active cases of Coronavirus(33, 413 new cases).

    Russia, now the 4th country worst hit by the virus has documented 1, 179, 634  all time cases, 20, 796 deaths and 960, 729  recoveries, leaving Russia with 198, 109 Coronavirus patients to assist medically to overcome the virus(8,835 new cases), followed by Colombia with 835, 339 documented cases of Coronavirus,  26, 196  patients are no more, while 751, 961 others have survived, leaving Colombia with 57, 182  active cases of the virus(11, 297 new cases) and  Peru, which has reported 814, 829  all time cases, 32, 463  deaths and 683,815 recoveries, leaving Peru with 98, 551  patients down with Coronavirus hoping for the best to keep living(3,061 new cases).

    Spain has come up as the 7th country worst hit by Coronavirus, reporting 778, 607  confirmed cases,  31, 973 deaths, while about 150, 376 others have been discharged, leaving Spain with about 596, 253 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 419 new cases), followed by Argentina which has reported 751, 001 cases of Coronavirus over time, 19, 937 patients have lost their lives, while 594, 645 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Argentina with 136, 419 patients to assist medical to keep living(14, 392 new cases) and  Mexico which has confirmed 743, 216 cases over time, 77, 646 deaths and 628,007 recoveries, leaving Mexico with 37, 563 active cases of Coronavirus(5, 053 new cases).

    South Africa now stands as the 10th country worst hit with 676, 084 cases of Coronavirus,  16, 866 deaths, while  609, 584 others have been discharged, leaving South Africa with 49, 634 patients in the hospitals praying for the best to come out alive(3, 512 new cases), followed by  France which has reported 616,960 cases over time,  32, 034 lives have been lost to the virus, while 99, 106 others have survived the virus, leaving France with 485, 820 active cases of Coronavirus(13, 053 new cases) and Chile with 464, 760 all time cases of the pandemic,  12, 882 deaths,  while 438, 148 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Chile with 13, 730 patients requiring urgent medical care to regain their health(1, 769 new cases).  

    The United Kingdom has been pushed to the 13 country worst hit by Coronavirus, reporting 462,774 all time cases, 42, 292 deaths while  only 2,378 others have been assisted to get back to their feet, leaving  the U.K with 418, 104  active cases of Coronavirus(6, 932 new cases) and  Iran with 461, 044 confirmed cases of the virus, 26, 380 patients have been killed, while 383, 368 others have recovered, leaving Iran with 51, 296 patients in need of medical attention(3, 825 new cases) and  Italy(19) with 317, 409 confirmed cases, 35, 918 lives have been snatched away by the virus, while 228, 844 others have been given clean bill of health,  leaving Italy with 52, 647 active cases of Coronavirus(2, 548 new cases).

    China, now the 44th country most hit by the virus has documented     90, 555 confirmed cases, 4, 739 deaths and 85, 472 recoveries, leaving China with 344 active cases of the virus.
