LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 593 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing all time cases to 50,488.
Out of the 50,488 confirmed cases, 37,304 patients have been discharged, while 985 others could not make it alive.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Plateau-186, Lagos-172, Abuj-62, Oyo-27, Delta-25, Rivers-20, Ondo-19, Edo-18, Kaduna-17, Enugu-12, Akwa Ibom-10, Ogun-7, Abia-6, Gombe-6, Kano-3 and Osun-3, making a total of 593 new cases

On the global scale, all time cases have crossed the 22 million mark, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University has reported.
According to the centre, there are now 22, 252, 446 cases since the outset of Coronavirus, 783, 525 deaths over time, while 14, 170, 312 others have overcome the pandemic.
However, the United States remains the most affected country, reporting 5, 523, 826 all time cases, 172, 945 accumulated deaths, while 1, 898, 159 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving the United States with 3, 452, 784 patients in the hospitals(49, 196 new cases), followed by Brazil which has documented 3, 407, 354 all time cases of Coronavirus, 109, 888 deaths over time, while 2, 751, 246 patients have recovered, leaving Brazil with 546, 220 patients still receiving treatment for Coronavirus(47, 784 new cases) and then India, which has reported 2, 767, 273 cases since the outset of the pandemic, 52, 889 accumulated deaths, while 2,037, 870 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving India with 676, 514 patients to treat(64, 531 new cases).

Russia is number 4 in the rank of most affected countries, reporting 935, 066 all time cases of the pandemic, 15, 951 deaths over time, while 747, 802 patients have been discharged, leaving Russia with 171, 313 patients to cater for, followed by South Africa with 596, 060 cases of Coronavirus over time, 12, 423 accumulated deaths, while 491,441 patients have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving South Africa with 92, 196 patients to treat for the pandemic(3, 916 new cases) and Peru which has reported 549, 321 cases of Coronavirus over time, 26, 658 deaths since the first case was reported, while 374, 019 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving Peru with 148, 644 patients struggling to stay alive(7, 828 new cases), followed by Mexico with 531, 239 all time cases of Coronavirus, 57,774 deaths over time while 433, 809 patients have been able to recover, leaving Mexico with 39, 656 patients to treat for the ailment(5, 506 new cases).
Colombia is number 8 in the league of most affected countries, reporting 489, 122 all time cases, 15,619 deaths over time, while 312, 323 patients have been healed, leaving Colombia with 161, 180 patients in the hospitals, followed by Chile with 390, 037 all time cases of #Coronavirus, 10, 578 deaths since the first case was reported, while 364, 285 patients have recovered, leaving Chile with 15, 174 patients in the hospitals(1, 182 new cases) and then Spain, which is 10th in the league with 370, 867 cases since the outset of the pandemic, 28, 797 deaths over time, while 150, 376 patients have been discharged, leaving Spain with 191, 694 patients to cater for(6, 680 new cases), followed by Iran with 350, 279 all time cases of Coronavirus, 20, 125 deaths over time while 302, 528 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Iran with 27, 626 patients to heal(2, 444 new cases).
The United Kingdom is 12 in the league, reporting 322, 994 cases since the outset of Coronavirus, 41, 483 deaths over time while only 1, 495 patients have been given clean bill of health since the time the first cases was reported in the U.K, leaving the nation with 280, 016 patients in hospitals hoping to overcome the pandemic(834 new cases), followed by France in the 17th spot in the league.
France has documented 256, 534 cases of the pandemic since the first case was reported, 30, 434 deaths over time, while 84, 214 patients have survived the pandemic, leaving France with 141, 916 patients to cater for in the hospitals, followed by Italy(18) with 255, 278 all time cases of #Coronavirus, 35, 412 deaths over time while 204, 506 patients have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving Italy with 15, 360 patients to treat(642 new cases) and then China which has been pushed to 32nd spot in the league.

China has documented 89, 523 all time cases of Coronavirus, 4,706 deaths since the first case was reported, while 83, 510 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving China with 1,307 patients on medications in the hospitals.
